Wagyu beef is an incredibly delicious beef that is loved by people all over the world. Originating from Japan, this tender and unique beef is delicious and flavorful because of the cut and its fat content. In this article, we’re going to give you some delicious ways that you can enjoy Wagyu beef in your own home.

Recipe 1: Black-Pepper Crusted Wagyu Steaks

  • 4 12 ounce Wagyu strip steaks
  • 2 teaspoons of coarse kosher salt.
  • 2 tablespoons coarsely ground pepper
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil (divided)
  1. Take the time to pat the steaks dry so that you can cook them evenly.
  2. Brush one of the tablespoons of olive oil over the top of the steaks.
  3. Cover the steaks with the salt and pepper.
  4. Put another tablespoon of olive oil into a large skillet and allow it to heat up, then place the steaks into the skillet.
  5. Add more olive oil as needed.
  6. Cook steaks to your desired doneness and enjoy!

Recipe 2: Simple Wagyu Steak

  • Wagyu Steaks of the size you desire
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Cooking oil of your choice and preference
  1. Preheat the cooking oil on a large skillet and allow it to start to smoke.
  2. As the oil is heating, take your steak and cover both sides of it with the cooking oil, as much as needed for your desired taste.
  3. Take the salt, pepper, and other spices of your choice over the steak and rub it on both sides.
  4. Add more olive oil as needed.
  5. Cook steaks to your desired doneness and enjoy!

Recipe 3: Wagyu Steak with Balsamic Glaze

  • 1 Steak, flat iron preferred, at least 1 lb in size.
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Steak seasoning
  • ¼ of a cup of balsamic glaze (made by boiling balsamic and then allowing it to reduce – a pint bottle of balsamic will give you about a half of a cup of glaze total).
  1. Mix together all of the dry ingredients in a bowl and rub it on both sides of the steak.
  2. Allow the spices to set into the steak by putting it in the fridge for a half an hour or more.
  3. 15 minutes before you cook the steak, let it sit out to get to room temperature.
  4. Preheat your grill and cook – it’s going to look rarer than other types of beef, so be careful not to overcook it.
  5. Move it to the part of the grill that isn’t over direct heat and let it sit a bit more.
  6. Set aside and allow to rest under a foil tent for about 5 minutes.
  7. Cover the steak with the glaze and enjoy one of the most delicious, tender meats that you’ve ever had.
